Good point about it getting wet and mold.
We generally don't leave the shade up past noon when the sun passes the side of the trailer making the sheet unnecessary. The times it does get rolled up with the awning is when we get freak wind burst and have to get the awning in NOW. Unclipping the tiedowns takes a second but removing the sheet and cord from the tract would take too long so it all goes up together.
I like the shower curtain idea especially for the sides. A nice pattern would look nicer than the sheet.
