It is just material, a polypropylene type stuff. It is the same material that Camping World and other places sell for lots of bucks, but are hemmed and already have grommets.
It cost me $18.96 for the 15' roll and I found it in the garden/plant department last spring/summer. When I purchased mine, they had several colors to choose from - white, black, tan (which I got) and green. I have not looked for it this year, so I don't know if they have it or not.
As was stated above, I folded it over on the edges, which were raw and placed 5-6 grommets across the top and 3 on the bottom and sides. The sides were just to make it look better and the bottom was to use S hooks to hold it down. I used the same S-hooks and plastic anchors to hook it to our awning.
