The collapsable trashcan is like gold. LOL I've used one (the same one even, that's how durable it is) that I bought from CW over 8 years ago. Mine has velcro which is awesome, i noticed the new ones have a different securing mechanism that a lot of people said they do not like as much as velcro. Glad I got the older one. lol

We use those, too. We have ones with the zippers to close them, but hardly ever close them. We put the big 30 gal black garbage sacks in them so they always stay clean. :)

YOu don't close yours when you store it and pack up? Yea, i also use the big black trash bags so its always clean. I really love that trashcan. Before I got it we used a big trash bag but it is a pain picking it up and opening it everytime to throw something away. That seems like a petty thing, but it really is useful to be able to pitch your trash in a can without fooling around with a bag! LOL

:) We use it for pop and beer cans. We have a screen room around the awning and the container stays in there. Have never had problems with varmints. I also use them for dirty clothes when going to the laundry --- and yes, I zip it then. We dispose of the cans/garbage before we leave camp. We don't use them for garbage....ours are huge and I don't want garbage around that long, so we use a small trash can for the garbage.
