We use those fire place scissor type tongs. Nice to be able to grab a hold of a log for repositioning.
Always kee on eye out at garage sales as well. So far we have found two more that are put on stand by lol
I've been using those for a few years. Awesome. I don't even use a standard poker anymore, it works good enough for a poker and has the benefit of grabbing the logs.
