Please explain how this works, sounds good but I can not envision the how?
A Diaper Genie is meant for used disposable diapers. It's overkill for wads of toilet paper, but it does the job. The dispenser holds plastic bags that are large enough for a used diaper. It sits in the top of the Diaper Genie. When you open the lid on the Diaper Genie it automatically pulls down a fresh bag and holds it open for you. When you close it, it seals the bag and loads the edge of a new one.
It fits in the corner of my bathroom right next to the t.p. holder. Very light weight, doesn't tip over on the road (but wouldn't matter if it did), and serves the purpose well. NO smell at all.
Hmmm I made a sign that reads "Do not place ANYTHING in toilet that you didn't SWALLOW first"!!! Then placed a small covered refuse receptical with foot activated lid by toilet, holds average sized perfumed plastic liners/bags... DW promptly changed it out for a nicer stainless oval one but the rule still applies?!?!
Just so she and D Daughter understand the why it is; I always re-flush and sanatize the tanks when we get home and I use a Macerator pump to empty (small motorized plastic impeller) I showed them both and offered to allow them to flush anything they wanted too as long as "they were the one's" uncloging the macerator pump when it got clogged it up!!
I tried the Diaper Genie and brought it back.....it was much too large and the toilet paper was too light to "fall" into the bottom, leaving well lets just not say on the sides of the plastic liner!:E
We had used a covered waste basket (nice brushed chrome one - must be a woman thing)....and I'm just as happy with it so it is now back in the bathroom. Since it is just DH & myself - I don't have a sign but inform any guests what to do if they use the potti room!:B
