At my workplace we get dozens of lost cameras every year with people's travel, wedding, graduation, etc. - pics that can't be replaced, and we have no way of knowing how to get in touch with them.
Assuming whoever finds the camera thinks to look for personal info in the pictures or is even wants to return the camera.
