As a 72 y/o backpacker and mountain climber whose knees have given out, I've decided my dog and I will round it out in a Class B RV, and older Falcon 190 in great shape.
One of the delights of this thing is figuring out how to get it to where I can do what I want when I want. One of the delights of thru-hiking (400 to 600 mile stretches with caches along the way) was figuring out how to travel as lightly as possible. It's been fun figuring out the same things with this little RV.
So far I've decided upon paper plates and plastic cups. Out they go. I know, I know, it's not green to do that.
Didn't come with a generator, so there's a cargo carrier with a Honda EU 2000i and large gas tank. And a 5 gallon propane tank. Since it has Timbren levelers and a 600 pound hitch on back those aren't a problem.
So far where to keep the dog's water hasn't been solved, though how to fill in the area between the front seats so he'll have a bed has been.
Trying to find a cheap LED bulb place - think I may have but I'll have to try a couple of their bulbs first. And trying to figure out a way to control various lights from one remote.
It's all fun.
