Portable storage beside the bed.
There is a space between the narrow night stand and the lift up bed in our class A. The space is about 5 inches wide between the bed platform and the side of the night stand.
The space gets wider below the platform by about 2 1/2 inches. I found a plastic box with a tight fitting lid that fits below the platform on it's side.
I found a hanging shoe organizer at Lowe's
kinda like this
and laid it down so the "hanger" end was against the wall and the organizer faced up as it went across the plastic container and then curved and draped to the floor.
I didn't want to hang it in the closet (because I want items next to my bed) and I didn't want to hang it beside the bed because it's going to be HEAVY as heck and in the way. I didn't want it pulling on the ceiling or visible.
Lots of storage...and my pillow won't fall to the floor anymore.
It's level with my mattress and fills the gap between the bed and the night stand.
Best thing is that it's portable. I can pick it up and carry it to the truck camper and have all the "necessary things" along without having to think about it. (It fits on the bed between the mattress and the wall in the camper.)
