While camping earlier this year, some friends of ours from Missouri showed us a neat trick to start your campfires. First collect your drier lint (usually about half a sandwich bag full) one cardboard egg carton bottom section, a block of paraffin or candle wax. Melt the wax (tomato juice can works great), place a wad of drier lint in the bottom of each egg holder, and pour the melted wax into the cardboard egg carton until the wax is level with the top of the egg carton. When cool, cut each of the twelve sections apart and store in a zip lock bag until ready to use. One is all it takes to get a fire really going!
