I have one drawer in the Tiger that contains frequently-needed OTC remedies like cold tablets, Nyquil, diarrhea remedy, etc. I was getting for a trip, and thought to check the expiration dates on said meds..... Oops! Most were put in there right after I bought the Tiger (early '06), or moved over from my previous RV, bought in '03, and had never been taken out, thru the summers and winters... D'uh! Tossed and replaced them (25% off coupon at CVS).
Under that is my 'duct tape & pliers' drawer, for little repairs. Along with a bunch of other junk, I have a Loctite Epoxy set (the dual linked syringes), probably bought 4-6 years ago. Checked it, and it was gelled or solidified.
Tossed it, and bought another.
Yeah, if I haven't needed any of meds or epoxy in the years I've been carrying them, maybe I don't need to be carrying it. But if the new stuff goes bad without being used, I'll just call it 'cheap insurance'.
