You get what you pay for. On the other side of the coin, You don't always need a Lincoln Town Car, sometimes a Ford Focus will do the job. Case in point, I have an $80 air compressor that has been working just fine for about 10 years, but I only need it a few times a month for mundane tasks. Same for my cut-off saw, air nailer, drill press, 2-ton jack, etc. My cordless tools are Makita, Dewalt, or Ryobi, I use them a lot.
