We are hooked on $6.00 hammers. If people want to spend $28.00 to pound a few nails, they are available, but not nearly as popular. I remember when "Made in Japan" was a signature for junk. Honda, inc. changed all that.
IIRC, I paid about $2.99 for my HF hammers.

I would bet that a bunch of this "junk" comes off the same lines as the "premium" stuff that you pay 3 times as much for.

You are correct sir......such as Lowe's Kobalt stuff and Home Depot Husky stuff. - BumpyroadExplorerI would bet that a bunch of this "junk" comes off the same lines as the "premium" stuff that you pay 3 times as much for.

Hush up there. :W
My stick hoe genny back up from HF hasn't failed in years. - Mr_BeeboExplorerI've had the champion 2000s, 2 of them with the link for pairing them together, for almost three years now and have had no problems. I paid $469 a piece on sale and with the link and tax it was a little over a grand out the door. I've had Honda inverter gennier to compare them with and for the money, it was a no brainer.

If money is a driving factor, and you're looking at inverter generators I'd seriously consider the little Champion 2000. More often than not you can pick them up for $499, they have a proven track record of being reliable, with good customer support, and you can get parts for them if needed. Noise wise they're same as the Hondas. Just a possible option...
Absolutely! A good friend has one with over 3,000 hours. And this is coming from a guy with 4 genny's.a Honda eu2000i, a Honda EX 350, a Sam's powerhouse 2200 inverter and a Champion 3500/4000. - rfhall50ExplorerHave the Powerhorse. Great gen. VERY quiet.
