- bobsallyhExplorer III have a friend who has two 40s on his Avion(Airstrean wanna be)that took two covers, put them together and used aluminum trim over the joint. Looks great!

With Tax and shipping probably more like $800, Old-Buscuits idea to make one out of two plastic ones sounds good to me. You could slide the top over the bottom half covering the cut seam. Have read of several folks 'looking' for hard and never found them
20#, 30# and 40# cylinders are same diameter and 40# are 5" taller than 30# (29" vs 24")
Have seen where some have taken TWO hard covers and made a taller set (Two 20# covers------cut bottom section off and pop riveted to other cover or One 20/One 30)
