Has anyone had a run in with any WILD animals?

We almost always have moose or bear sitings when we go camping. About half the time we have moose come right through our site. Last year we had a cougar come through the campground. Last year while on a kayak camping trip we had a pack of wolves take a moose down about a 1/2 mile away from our camp site. It was 5am and quite the wake up call. I always carry but I have never had the need to use it, just give them the space they need.
