Has anyone had a run in with any WILD animals?

We encountered bison in Yellowstone this summer. One slowly walked in front of us for quite a while through Hayden Valley and while waiting for the bus in Trailer Village at the Grand Canyon the bull elk stood not 10 feet behind us and we did not know he was there until we boarded the bus and the passengers already on board were taking his picture.


We have also encountered bears along the road while in Hyder, Alaska.
