Has anyone had a run in with any WILD animals?

Back about 1992 - I was living in a nice apartment complex in Dallas, TX. I came home after a long evening at the car races, and found a dozen raccoons digging up the flower bed in front of my unit. Eating recently planted bulbs.

The older, large leaders of the pack made it very clear I was not to go to my apartment door because some small babies were eating close to the door. I had to wait almost 30 minutes before they left.
