Has anyone had a run in with any WILD animals?

Because we hike we have met them all on trails, Wolves, bear, buffalo, elk cougars, wild cats, caribou, etc.
We have the expensive bear spray with us every time but have never had to use it.
Our truck was surrounded by a herd of buffalo at Yellowstone who would not let us thru for an anogizing amount of time but finally wandered off.

And it is probably time to get new bear spray.
