Has anyone had a run in with any WILD animals?

Took the dog out for a walk one summer night in Bentsen Rio Grande State Park (now a bird sanctuary). Set him down on the ground and could hear the javelina coming towards us. Apparently summertime is so hit in South Texas no one went to the park and the javelina were hungry. Threw the dog back in the trailer just in time. You could see their eyes shining in the dark.
