I've mentioned it before but my hope is that by the time my pickup wears out that the self-driving semi will have been out long enough that I can afford a used one. Then I can sleep in a 5th wheel while the truck drives me to my next destination. Have an EV Smart car or similar in the garage for exploring. Sleeping while changing locations would double the effective length of my vacations as I wouldn't be wasting half the days driving. As far as charging, 50A 240 is 12Kw so you'd be limited to around 150 miles a day if you're moving every day and only charging at the RV park, but if you're just topping off and using the supercharger (or DC fast charging CSS for anyone but Tesla) then you'd have essentially unlimited mileage as they can add 200 miles of range in about an hour and if they're planning for an autonomous fleet they'll either have automated charger mating or they'll have attendants, either way no need to wake up to get more range.
