Chrysler turbine used about twice the fuel as a big block of the day to putt around town.
100% correct.
And yet Chainwright says big oil killed the turbine car. :R LOL
Ya it was in gen 1 cars. They worked a lot of it out in gen 2 cars with a heat exchanger. They pretty much had a BIG EGR with the whole exhaust system. It also boosted the mileage a bit but as was said, turbines drank more fuel at idle than an big block ever did. And who wants a car that starts to build speed 2 seconds after the throttle is mashed to the floor? But then again who wants a TV that has the equivalent of a 3 gallon gas tank? At about 10% energy density of gas that's what an EV tow vehicle would have.
What did they do cancel the live feed? 1/2 and hour after the unveiling and no live feed no news, no nothing?
Howdy. What EV tow vehicle are you referring to. The only I know of that is even rated is the Tesla X and that is only to 5000 pounds. I know there are some after market hybrid pickups. Is that what you are referring to??
