It must be cold out and no one is camping so I will add my thoughts to this thread. When I was a kid my great uncle used to say "watch out for the trolley cars" when ever I would leave his house. These were common in the early 1900's but abandoned when personal automobiles became more popular. I would think from an infrastructure point of view it would be easier to install a ground level power supply on major interstates than charging stations in CG's or truck stops, for trucks or MH's and use a smaller battery pack or hybrid engine once of the highways to get to a city for delivery or CG. I suppose from the ground level power supply the electric batteries could also be recharged while in route. I would think by now some major cities are working on this for mass transportation.
