Heavy equipment going electric instead of diesel.

Power, no matter what form aint cheap. What these eco groups and the electric vehicle wannabees all fail to address is, where is all this electricity coming from? Thats right, its coming from coal,nuclear, and hydroelectric sources. All polluters in the eyes of the eco crowd. So, whats the long term solution? I have no clue, but electric vehicles is probably not it when you factor in disposal costs for all those batteries, not counting the energy costs to product them in the first place.
