help - veterans on insulin

Veterans - how do you receive your insulin on the road? Specifically refrigerated lantis? If your doctor needs to update your dosage how can you get the prescription in another state?

Thanks, this is really a hot button for us right now as DH is having serious sugar level problems.

    You can usually contact a pharmacy where you are located. Have your prescription information with you. They will contact your doctor and get it refilled. If you believe the dosage needs to be adjusted, contact your doctor via telephone.

    Now if you're talking about VA supplied meds, I'm not sure what to do there.
