HELP! Black tank spill inside

Two days ago I overflowed the toilet on my small black water tank on the second flush of the tank. Water was mostly clean but still black water. I cleaned and sanitized everything I could see.

I took off a panel in the kitchen wall and have noticed moisture under the plastic sheeting that is behind the toilet and under the kitchen area.

How do I get to the rest of the moisture to clean.

The motor home was not level so the flow went from the middle located toilet through the kitchen area then out the drivers side front. Only two basement areas has moisture.

Help help help. New 2018 Winnebago.

  • I had a similar "Accident" a few months ago ( http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/30103318/gotomsg/30119506.cfm#30119506 ) Four months later, it seems as though efforts to clean up at the time were successful. I moved everything out, mopped & dried everything accessable, desmantled and dried eveything else, opened every door and window, kicked on the roof fans, and placed fans everywhere possible along the floor. All while having to listen to the other half.

Today; No Mold, No Smell, No Soft Spots in the walls or floors. I got lucky!

Lesson learned: when flushing the BWT, STAY WITH IT! I let myself get distracted with preparations for moving...BAD IDEA!
