There is a difference in pulling the TT and the 5er. We had a 35' bunkhouse TT and we upgraded to a 37' 5er. The 5er is easier to back in, but the TT was easier to actually PULL.
If you read enough of these posts, you will be too scared to purchase ANYTHING! We have a short-bed pickup and we have a slider hitch with the 5er, which we have had for 5 years. We have NEVER used the slide action and we have probably towed over 12,000 miles.
FYI, crushed bed rails and busted back windows are covered under insurance .
Funny I think the 5er is easier to pull and hook up and rides better but it is a little harder to back in. JMHO
