Help figuring out tongue weight

I got my truck/trailer weighed today and here's what I got:
Steer: 2940
Drive: 3880
Trailer axle: 7000
Total: 13820

The manual says my Tundra Crewmax weighs 5600

So....

2940+3880=6820
6820-5600=1220

Can I deduce that my tongue weight is around 1220 # ?
Or do I add the 1220 to the trailer weight of 7000=8220, and do the 10% rule which is around 800#s?

Big difference between 1220 and 800 #s.

And no, they wouldn't let me unhook my trailer :-(

Any help appreciated, and yes... I know... my truck should only pull a small canoe or it will leave it's axle on my driveway.
Thanks !
  • If you use the 5600# as the actual weight, then remember to add your weight and any passengers/cargo.
  • Tin,
    Thanks for the response.
I was trying to find this online, but guess I have to pay the $10 and get it weighed.
I guess my 750# wdh needs to be upgraded LOL, which is thye reason I'm trying to figure this out.
    Thanks again
  • Racerx11, if your 5600 is accurate, TW appears to be 1220, total trailer weight would appear to be 8220. Need to weigh the truck only. Need to know what is going on each axle.
