- mleekampExplorerCorrect -- they are NOT meant for moving the trailer or RV...only meant when it is stationary and after fridge is OFF...to avoid mildew when not camping.
- mlts22Explorer III make it part of my checklist when storing my rig to use the airing position cards. I had the refer shut for a couple weeks after an outing, and it took about 30 minutes cleaning it thoroughly with bleach wipes to get rid of the mildew inside. However, when moving the rig, I wouldn't trust the cards -- too easy for the doors to open and start flopping, perhaps breaking something.
- ApprovedAnonymousI can't think of when I'd drive anywhere and need the door open. I only leave it open while the coach is in storage.
- Chris_BryantExplorer III like the Dometic air card (original picture) more than the no-mold, simply because the Dometic part holds the door firm- you can drive with it like that, but the after market one just keeps the door from closing- it can still swing open.

Don't need them on the Norcold, there are built in pins (gray) that slide out to keep the door from closing tight. Works great for me. - rockhillmanorExplorer II

Here they are on eBay for $14.
Before you'all go running to buy one of these.....If you notice on the picture posted the WIDE space between the fridge and freezer where the gadget is up against and lines up with where the doors meet?
Not all fridges have that wide of a space nor lines up with even a narrower one. So the gadget doesn't work on all fridges, like on mine. :( - nevadanickExplorerhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/Dometic-RV-No-Mold-Refrigerator-Freezer-Door-Holders-2-NEW-/170916704467
- TXcampingfamilyExplorerThank you! The picture really helped!!!

Ding*ding*ding we have a winner!
Open the fridge door and look at the part of the locking latch you press to open the door. Insert the tab of piece into the hollow part of the latch as follows:
Use the second one on the freezer door in the same manner. Holds the door open just enough to allow the air to circulate and prevent mold growth when the fridge is turned off. - RoyBExplorer IIIDarn - Now I want one or two of these... Neat trick...
