Insurance premiums depend upon what is insured and the amount insured. Full replacement cost for motorhome, full coverage for broken glass, full replacement for awnings, 1/2 million dollar liability, 1,000 dollar deductible, estimated value of personal contents, uninsured and underinsured coverage, etc.
Compare apples with apples and not apples to oranges to get an accurate comparison of cost. I find that different insurance plans do not cover the exact same as another insurance company.
This is the biggest deal when you compare, make sure same coverage including deductibles. When we shopped a year or so back no one touched or Progressive policy for coverage and most were not more than $250 a year less in cost, but we would lose our $103000 coverage and vanishing deductible had brought our effective deductible to $0.00 but our rates are figured at $1000 ded.
As others have stated many variables including your state insurance laws, where you live, where the RV is kept when not used along with driving record.
