Another CA tip and I'm sure you'll love this one. Since you are now on 2 lane roads there are a number of them where your 45' MH is prohibited, like most of US 1 for example, so no problem with passing cars. :)
And you will also love the OR 101 turnouts with the fantastic ocean views. 2 lane and no 55 state restriction. Going north they are all on the left on a very tight U loop to the right and you'll be mostly blind to the south bound traffic. You won't have much time to decide if your long rig will fit in the turnout due to cars and very little time to cross oncoming traffic. :(
