Was just in Yosemite last week. Stayed about an hour from the park so did some mountain driving to it. The two lanes roads we drove were indeed only one speed for all vehicles. There were both paved and unpaved areas or turnouts. Don't recall if it was only the paved ones that the signs were up for. I'm assuming they were since residents on here state only paved are signed. The 55 mph speed limits on those crazy winding roads was scary to me at first. I'm a Texas boy, it's flat here. But after a while we got used to it. Still didn't drive as fast as locals is seems but got over when we could. I pull a 40' fiver and just got over when I felt it was safe. Never really had an issue with the followers. Wasn't on two lane roads too terribly much while pulling. All in my party agreed those drivers are insane sometimes.
By the way, we weren't aware of the 5 car behind limit but don't think we ever had that many. usually 1 or 2 and they would pass pretty quickly.
