Help me understand the flaws with these "features"

Can't comment on the fridge - we are happy with what we have.
Our TV rises out of the counter which is on the opposite side from the kitchen.
We like the nice clean look when it is stored and having the counter space to set things on. . As far as storage goes, we have plenty.
The counter that houses the TV is only about 12 or 14 inches wide, so no big deal.
After 3 years of using our 24 ft. unit we still have some empty cupboards and don't do without anything that we want or use regularly.
