Help! My bed is stuck in the open position.
New Jayco FW - opened up bed to store something and now it won't close. Feeling stupid. Any suggestions.

This is one reason we took closet rods and and closet rod holders and made a stable rod-like holder for when we open the bed to sort thru or store items under the bed.
We can pick up the bed with the gas struts assisting us, put the rods in place and do what we want to do without worrying about relying on the gas struts to hold the bed up.
We can take out a strut out like we did once to install larger struts to have more assistance in opening the storage area.
