- camperforlifeExplorerMy manual crank (not a Bullet) is on the opposite side of the trailer from the slide. Please let us know what you found out.
- PauljdavExplorerIf you are getting "nothing" I would suspect the auto breaker by the battery.
It may be tripping way too soon and need of replacement. They are only a few bucks.
If you are getting "something" but the slide will still not come in I would read your manual to determine where to put the socket and ratchet in the slide.
The last option is to just keep camping since the slide IS in the out position and not worry about it.
Paul - ClarkstonExplorerThe bullet if i am correct used the bal accuslide system it is electric with chain and cable, you need to see if it is on the upper part of the slide above the valance or below the slide ie under a couch on the end of 1 side of the motor is a hex head drive this has to be turned with a flexible extenstion you should have received from the dealer in your paperwork package turn this end using the flex exstention with a electric drill.
- hersheyExplorerLocate the motor/gear assembly under the slide. On that assembly, there is "usually" a bolt that can be easily tightened or loosened which actually bypasses the motor and will operate directly the gear drive of the slide out. I don't suggest an electric drill for this or impact wrench, just a simple socket and ratchet drive.
Admittedly, I'm not at all familiar with your particular unit, but the above is a pretty generic answer for moving the slide when power is lost. - 1492ModeratorMoved from Forum Technical Support
- lizzieb13ExplorerThanks. It's electric. Can't find hole for crank. ? Where it could be?
- WeldonExplorerSome keystone units are made to use a DRILL WITH THE PROPER SIZE BIT in the back of the slide pump. Good luck!
- bfast54Exploreryes....................you can do it manualy..................is it hyd, or motor?????
If hyd...................find the punp................you may find a valve, which you may or may not need to shut.....then there should be a place for a Jack handle, screwdriver works....you pump the handle...like a hyd bottle jack, and adjust the valve....for in , or out.
If Elec...should be a handle , small chrome in storage compartment..find a hole in side, or in a compartment, or just under ...fit the crank handle in , and turn ...clockwise, or counterclockwise.
You may have blown a ciircut breaker....if hyd... trace wire harness from pump to batt...should be a small plastic breaker/switch in harness...with a small button on it..press to reset,,,try slides
One of these should work for you.
Please let us know, if this works. - lizzieb13ExplorerNothing. Any other thoughts? Can we do it manually ?
- lizzieb13ExplorerThanks
