Bad advise for So CA. They will bill you for planting same size tree and fine you for cutting it down. If the tree dies or blows down in a storm quickly brick in the area before they can plant another tree. I bricked in all but where the tree was planted. The tree died due to lack of water and I bricked in over it. They kept telling me if I removed bricks they would plant a new tree. I was just lucky the tree died. They were too lazy to remove bricks.
EGZACTLY... Cut down a city tree and it will cost dearly
