I am retired LE from another state with a very similar law. My interpretation is the motorhome is your residence/temporary residence and if you can legally have a weapon you are legal moving or not. This does not mean you can carry away from the MH. As a factual matter, unless you do something dumb no one would have any idea there is a weapon in the vehicle.
