Help with hitch and ball setup
Hello, I just purchased a used 2009 keystone hideout 26b and am picking it up this week. Since I had a pop up trailer before I need to get another receiver and ball to fit. The problem is, it is about 25 min out of town and a can't access it until i pick it up this week.
My question is what type of receiver should I get and what should the drop be? The trailers Dry weight is 5200lbs and I'm pulling with a 2014 f-150 fx4 3.55 gears and tow package. GVWR is 7350 on the truck. GCWR is 13500lbs
Should the receiver be a max 6000lb one or should I be going to a 12 or 14000 lb. I will be getting a wd hitch with sway bars eventually but I need something to get it home.
Thanks for all your help. I'm new to hauling bigger travel trailers so I hope someone can help.
