Help! With Roadside Assistance

Hi everyone,

I joined this forum for my parents who are currently on the road by Albuquerque NM with a flat tire. They have good same roadside assistance but have not found a tow yet. I have not been able to find a mobile tire repair. The only place still open said their tire was an odd size and might be hard to find. The tire is an 8R19.5. Does anyone have some advice on where they can call to get back on the road?

Thanks!

Ryan

  • I guess they did not have good sam RA, and their other RA is not being very helpful. They are getting towed (or having the towing companies spare put on) to get into Moriarty NM.

The state troopers were a big help and even gave them a ride to try and find a tire. They hope to get a tire in the morning.
  • Question!!! Doesn't GSRA make the arrangements? This is why we subscribed to it!!!
  • Thank you for all the help! A tow truck is there and a trooper is bringing them to walmart to get a tire...i hope they have one. If walmart does not carry the where can you find the 19.5 tires?
  • or madrid towing: "505-226-3328 for 24-hour towing or roadside service in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the surrounding area."

In case the first doesn't work out...will keep posting more....you let us know when the folks are okay
  • There should be a tire service that operates 24 hours around there. trooper should be able to help. 8R19.5 tires are common.
  • Thanks Tom:

They did call, and a trooper is there now. But they still have not found a tow truck.
  • I would call the state police and ask them who they use for a road side break down.
