Does anyone use or have had a Hensley TruControl brake controller? Interested in how it worked for you, what it was installed in, etc.
Thanks
Jim
You have a nice set up I can tell you buy quality. If you want the BEST controller out there MaxBrake is the one.
Hensley and all the others are inertia based, The MaxBrake ties in to your Master Cylinder and applies power to your trailer brakes as you push down on your brake pedal. The more you push the more power is sent. With my 28K combined load it honestly feels like I am only driving my truck with no trailer attached when I apply the brakes. Truly a seamless braking experience!
Appreciate the comments and for looking out for me, but, we are not constantly on the move anymore, the current Jordan has worked fine for
many years and is acting a little strange. I realize Smartbrake, Maxbrake and the like are excellent. We have 2 1/4" x 3 3/8" x 6 electric brakes that work very well. The Hensley looks interesting, hence the question, thanks again.
