Rental or loaner but probably not his. Just plain doesn't care.

Giving the right of way to the car who is waiting where you need the extra turning room- say for a camper- is both safe and necessary.

Yielding extra time and space to a vehicle who needs extra room- like a camper- makes the road safer for everyone.

Waving someone on when you can see the road is clear but they cannot, is both safe and courteous.

Some people may have pet peeves about left hand turns, too, but that doesn't make them any less practical or useful. ;)

That's the point were I would of grabbed the hose and took a big long drink of water out of the end of it and then offered the OP a drink. People that work in the wastewater industry would understand. The OP would have turned green and ran back in his camper with his sign, which is where he should have stayed.

Bare handers here as well. We have a Drainmaster permanently attatched hose system so rinsing is not an option. The grey water does that job.

We do keep a bottle of disinfectant in the service bay & a squirt of that is always used.

As far as the OP story goes, that is all part of CG entertainment.

When we got our first RV, I used to use gloves when I dumped the tanks but not anymore. I have never gotten any liquid or anything else on my hands while dumping the tanks. I keep a tube of the sanitary wet wipes in the back of my truck and wash my hands with them when finished. I also never wash my sewer hose. Dumping both my grey tanks gets anything solid out of the sewer hose.

Exactly!! I just want people to be consistent when driving. I don't want someone waving me through an intersection when it's their turn, just go.

I would not use my water hose inside my slinky but I have seen many that do. They seem alive and well.

If you read my comment you'll see I am OK with it when there is a legitimate reason for it.

But out here we have people who wave you on for no reason. They just decide that the rules of the road don't apply and that THEY will control the traffic themselves.

I actually had a cop do it to me once. He waved me on around him. So I went and made a legal u-turn at the corner and parked on the side of the road at my house. As he drove past me, he said "I was going to do just that same thing". Unfortunately, because I was parked now, he couldn't make his u-turn and had to go around the block. Shouldn't have waved me on...

Exactly. And I will decide when it's safe for ME to enter the intersection - not you.

Had a woman wave me on at an intersection once. I just ignored her. As she was making her left turn, a car came up fast around her and continued straight (no stop in that direction). Had I made my left turn when she told me to, I would have been sideswiped and I would have been at fault.
