Glad to hear that it wasn't worse and you're on the mend. I quit riding near dusk, unless I have to, and don't ride after dark in rural areas at all any more. There are just too many deer out moving around. I've known several people who have hit deer in broad daylight too. Seems like it's about time to open the season up, a lot.
