skipnchar- glad to see you are on the mend. I know what you are going through. It is no fun. Leathers help against road rash, even with two layers of it, I still got a little. But wear a helmet from now on!!! When the pu truck hit me, I would not have survived except for the helmet. Sorry for the preaching, you don't really need it right now. Have patience for your recovery, it seems to take forever, but have faith and let your body heal. Listen to your wife, they always seem to know what's best. Mine kept me alive through my ordeal. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
