Hip surgery

I received a new hip in 1990 at the age of 40. Had been having problems with original since high school football injury at age of 16. I am now 63 and feel like it is starting to wear out. I don't know what brand it is or how well my doctor was trained (I went to him on the recommendation of another), but I do know that it was the best choice I ever made. I could not walk a block with a tremendous amount of pain. Three weeks after surgery I was enclosing a 12x24 carport into a sun room and two weeks after that back to work, all this without any rehab other than at home exercise.
