Devils advocate point...since it has failed and we do NOT know how it failed...make
sure the new install also looks at another possible weaknesses that could have
been imparted by this failure
Certain vehicle frames of the last decade or so...have higher tensile strength
alloy and manufacturing processes that do NOT lend themselves to secondary/tertiary/etc
work.
Specialized knowledge/training/tooling/etc are required. Gone are the days where
any commercial welder can walk up and start welding. GREAT potential of weakening
the frame...that might have also been weakened by that failure
