Not waiting for spring to go out in the clipper! I just hit the campgrounds in the foothills (that are too hot and crowded come April) in the winter months.

Yep, it's that time of year. Getting the GS up and off to school. Heating bills. Hoping the temps get above single digits so the snow/ice melts and you can actually get to your RV.Waiting for that stupid groundhog to tell you winter won't be over anytime soon (which you already knew).Get your taxes ready. And, realize you're another year older.Sometimes thinking about spring and RVing is all that keeps us sane. :B

And look forward to the time when you can camp anytime you want.

Heading south in a few weeks to begin our 2018 camping season. Presently, one degree outside, wind chill -10, and snow covering the rig.

Heading south next Sunday... If these sub-zero temps continue, we may have to rethink the staying up north for the holidays thing! Maybe we can get the kids to head south for a change. :)

Holidays finally over with, now for the important stuff !

Spring planning started as soon & I sat in that plane seat headed home Nov 8th. 77 days to go. Been pushing a paintbrush around since beginning of December. The job is not half done. Oh well, makes the days go faster.

It feels like spring already here in Tucson! Temps generally in 70's during day. I can handle that!

Hmmm...if only they would offer that when you buy a house in Wisconsin!

A lot of hardy souls on this forum; North Dakota, Canada, Minnesota, MI, PA. Makes me feel like a lightweight with our moderate weather. On the other hand, strike the lightweight, insert lucky instead.

11 days til The annual 1300 mile drive to the Florida Keys. I work outside and these last 10 days or so have been rough, and a few more cold days coming.

We don't get earthquakes and forest fires every year.

When I was a kid we fought Michigan cold, snow, ice, sleet, and vehicle rust every year. ;)

I left the Midwestern snow and cold 56 years ago ....and the DW has never lived in it. Neither of us care for it, but it's interesting to read about it.
Small world, I feel the same way about earthquakes and forest fires.

What's up with all this cold talk anyway!

The last several days I've been outside in 55-65 degree weather, after our Thanksgiving trip, doing more tweaking on the RV for our mid-winter trip to Arizona in a couple of weeks. The DW has maps and books spread out all over the place planning the camping spots, interesting places, and scenic drives for it. I hope the A/C doesn't let us down. ;)

I'm giving those peeps in Florida 12 days to get it warmed up. Then we're leaving MI and heading there.
