home brew in our tt

Thanks to Google I found this website and thread. We are looking to remove a cabinet to make room for a keezer in our travel trailer. Also considering removing the dinette to make room for the single tier brew stand. Has anyone made any modifications for the love of beer? I would love to see your inspirational pictures.

Thanks to Google I found and joined this forum just because of this thread. We have been thinking of making a 5.5 cu ft keezer for the TT. We would have to remove a cabinet for it to comfortably fit. We are also considering removing the built in dinette and using that space to transport the single tier brewstand. My wife has always hated the dinette anyway. Has anyone installed/modified their rv for the love of beer? I would love to see inspirational pictures.

I used to use the 1l or 2l pop bottles when I home brewed beer in my bachelor days.

They travel real well and they kept the bottling time to a minimum.

The only challenge is when you open them. Anything other than a lager or ale will nearly explode when you open. A glass bottle will explode under the pressure that a plastic pop bottle can handle. A pop bottle if I remember correctly has a burst pressure of about 150 Psi.

At a house party, I had a bottle of stout make a 6 foot fountain as it escaped the bottle.

The trick was to crack it then quickly reseal, multiple times, until the original bottling pressure had diminished.

Great topic. Also a home brewer who prefers to keg rather then deal with the bottles. Also like checking out microbrews. Just the other day I was day dreaming about installing tap in the camper. Would like to see photos of what other people are doing.

ok got it rigged up and it works great on a short trip now to train the gf to draw beer :B

I have a 1/4 barrel low boy sanke keg that I plan to take along on my brewery tours. Jocky box on the back of the mh and I'm good

I'm going with 1 tap. don't want to haul around the weight of two full kegs.
