I feel your pain. I've done the same when the same has happened to me and I'm only an hour from home. My home is back in the woods and quiet so it's hard to find a campsite as nice. When you get thoughtless people moving in, it may be easier to pack it in. Reporting them might help but the stress for the rest of the weekend wouldn't have been worth it. I hope the rest of your weekend has been enjoyable at home.
