We frequent a County park a couple hours away. This park allows monthly site rentals. Last year a couple with three big dogs were in a site about 150 feet away. The 40 something couple took off leaving two big dogs outside. Dogs howled for hours. Reported to park rangers. When the couple came back the rangers spoke with them but the dogs were quiet.
next day the same thing but the ranger saw the couple leave and drove by the campsite. Dogs were howling. When the couple came back the ranger cited them for loose and howling dogs. The offenders were not happy with the ranger but backed down. Dogs were quiet for the rest of our stay. A couple weeks later we returned and the couple was gone.
