It is wonderful not to have to follow the holiday schedule. We are also retired and enjoying it greatly.
A side note.....I remember a time when good people would band together to "take care of problem people" using various means, and when that sort of thing had to happen...law enforcement officers were completely behind the good folks.
I have resorted to taking my chainsaw along on our trips, and if we experience noisy obnoxious neighbors, I choose that time to tune up the saw with as much smoke and loud revving as I deem necessary. A crazy look in my eyes is an added special effect. I may get ejected for my loud noise, but at least I leave with a bit of self satisfaction.
