Homeless - safe to store propane/gas in car while sleeping?

Hi, does anyone have advice? I am homeless, and live and sleep in my car. I want to buy a propane or gas camping stove burner so I can boil water to make spaghetti, etc. I am thinking of buying ...

I dont know how much are rents in your area,
and how much it costs to buy good food,
so if YOU were making 1000$ a month,could you really afford to live anywhere else but your RV??
