Is spot on for the root cause of our problem today. I came into adulthood in the 70’s in a big city and watched it happen firsthand when Philadelphia had to empty Byberry State Hospital. Keeping someone against their will has become practically impossible, even for potentially life prolonging drug intervention.
Society simply won’t allow the rest of society to correct the problem in the near term, I think it will take a generation.
